About Pretzel City

Pretzel City Baseball & Softball School was founded in 1995 by Del Mintz. Pretzel City is dedicated to helping young people thoroughly enjoy playing baseball and softball, and building positive learning experience through these great games.

Pretzel City has held summer and winter youth camps, as well as coaching clinics in Pennsylvania and New England since 1990. Camp instructors include high school coaches, college coaches, and inspirational former major league players. Camps are always engaging instruction provided in small, age-appropriate groups. Instruction is focused on developing strong mechanics in all facets of the game.

Del Mintz played at the Division I (UMass/Amherst) level, and coached at the Division III, summer collegiate and American Legion levels. He has been a part-time Scout for the Philadelphia Phillies since 1999, and lives in Southeast Pennsylvania with his wife and their two children.
